So this summer has been slightly dissapointing, full of apologies, from The Biscuit. All the travel and work and especially the lack of camera have made keeping a good blog a nightmare.

But we promise, really mean it, that this year is going to be more fun than ever once The Biscuit returns to Chapel Hill. There are already lots of ideas on the backburner (yes, a 6 pound burrito might be one of those) that will surely come to fruition within a month or so. Perhaps there will be a recap of D.C. cuisine and maybe a review of Buns that was done - but lost - right when it opened.
In the mean time, The Biscuit needs your help. If any readers have any suggestions on cool places to eat or adventures to be had, please let us know! We beg you, because this site is about you, the reader, too.
Enjoy the rest of the summer. And if you’re curious about food in the Triangle, be sure to check out Carpe Durham, Eat at Joe’s and VarmintBites.
Those blogs are good for the area, but The Biscuit is going to keep its hold on Chapel Hill.

In my extensive research this summer while pedaling away, I was able to consume more BBQ than ever before. I would like to accompany The Biscuit as he samples the different kinds of BBQ around the Triangle (maybe including another visit to Allen and Sons) to see who has the best BBQ and which style reigns supreme. Maybe a day trip to Lexington is in order as well…

The Biscuit is definitely going to taste as much NC barbecue as possible in the future. Lexington is definitely on the list, perhaps along with a stop in Hickory.
If you’ve got any other places, let us know!

I’d love to see a feature on new additions to Franklin/Rosemary that have popped up over the summer, or the best places within walking distance for those of us without transportation.

They call it “Church’s Chicken” because you have to pray to God you don’t shit your pants after eating it.

^perhaps The Biscuit should do a little myth busters with this?

Best Chapel Hill Burger would be a good article, as a bunch of new places are now open including Buns and PT’s Grill. But can anyone beat the long-standing champion, Suttons?
